Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our virtual locker addresses, repack consolidation, assisted purchase ("Shop For Me"), or worldwide express shipping.
Free Locker Storage
Standard plans include 21 days of free storage. Premium & VIP plans offer 30 to 60 days of complimentary storage.
Volumetric Weight (IATA)
International freight is billed on the greater of actual physical weight or volumetric dimensional weight (L×W×H/5000).
Inspection & Contraband
All received items are inspected for aviation safety. Prohibited hazardous items cannot be shipped internationally.
1. Virtual Locker Address & Receiving Services
Upon account registration, UR IND SHOPPER assigns you a unique Indian Virtual Locker Suite ID (e.g., #UIS-1082-DEL) and warehouse facility address. You agree that:
- The virtual address is granted solely for legal e-commerce and retail parcel forwarding.
- You must include your assigned Suite Number on all merchant checkout shipping labels to ensure instant inward allocation.
- We do not accept mail containing bank debit cards, credit cards, cheque books, SIM cards, or original government identity documents unless pre-authorized.
2. Package Inspection & Photo Verification
To protect customers and comply with international aviation safety:
- Our warehouse personnel are authorized to open the outer merchant shipping carton to inspect the contents for damage and prohibited substances.
- High-resolution inspection photographs are captured and uploaded directly to your Customer Locker portal.
- If an item arrives damaged from the merchant, we notify you immediately so you can arrange a merchant replacement or return.
3. Storage Limits & Abandonment Policy
Packages stored in your locker beyond the plan allowance (Standard: 21 days; Premium: 30 days; VIP: 60 days) will incur a nominal storage fee of ₹50 per package per day. Packages remaining unclaimed after 90 consecutive days will be considered abandoned and disposed of in accordance with warehouse safety regulations.
4. Assisted Shopping ("Shop For Me") Terms
When utilizing our Assisted Purchase concierge:
- UR IND SHOPPER acts strictly as a purchasing agent. We do not manufacture or provide product warranties on behalf of Indian merchants.
- A standard assisted procurement service fee (5% of item value or min ₹250, whichever is higher) applies to cover domestic transaction processing and procurement.
- Assisted orders cannot be cancelled once the Indian merchant has dispatched the order.
5. International Customs, Duties & Taxes
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import tariffs, and VAT levied by the destination country:
- All destination import customs duties and VAT taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer/recipient.
- Customers are required to provide truthful declared values for customs clearance documentation.
6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes arising out of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
